Today was my first visit to Bowled and I am in love. I came home and emailed all of my friends, sent them a link to your website. I described your menu as an orchestra...no section too heavy or too light. The winds, brass, percussion and strings.... everything in harmony. Since I discovered Bowled, it has become my favorite place to meet friends for a delicious meal and pleasant atmosphere. I have enjoyed every menu item I have tried. Outstanding! Amazing!

My visit here was an excellent one. The thanksgiving wrap/sausage corn chowder was divine, penne vodka outstanding, and the meatloaf was amazing. You're a first class operation!

I drive by Bowled every day and finally stopped in today to check you folks out. I was super impressed with every detail! I sat at the counter while I waited for my to-go order and watched your excellent staff as they waited on customers, cashed out orders, and came in and out of the kitchen. Congrats and kudos to everyone there: you're a first class operation and I'm looking forward to my next meal there, and will make it a point to travel from Bradenton with friends to patronize Bowled! It is always exciting to find a new restaurant that offers something different for dinner. We needed to be at a theatre event within an hour and a half and our server accommodated us with bringing our check when he brought us our meal. Each of us enjoyed our meatloaf and chicken piccata bowls and chose to take half home to make room for the tiramisu gelato. We just loved the blueberry lemonade! Likes it — The food is outstanding. The selection of food is impressive and the decor is perfect. I had the Diablo pasta and seafood dish and my server ( a tall redhead ) recommended a great wine to go with it. My friend had one of their great beers. YOU HAVE TO GET THE PEACH COBBLER for dessert. It is heavenly.

Won't Stay a Secret for Long...

It's great! I've been in for lunch and dinner and will be back again soon. They have great inexpensive lunchs (wraps, sandwiches, salads, etc) I had a Thanksgiving wrap (turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce) for lunch with sweet potato chips - YUM! And I went back for dinner a couple of night later and had the most amazing Mex-Italian Lasagna (traditional lasagna noodles and ricotta with mexican flavored beef and cheeses - covered in a chipolte cream sauce) Amazing! They have a large menu with lot's of different dishes to try.

I went to the opening tasting with my daughter on Thursday and we LOVED it! Even though I'm a vegan, and she's a vegetarian, there were a lot of choices. Plus they vegged out a few of their items. It was really, really, really delicious. My daughter said, "That is the best place I've ever eaten." She's got sophisticated taste too! All food we tried was fantastic.

They have a really cool, eclectic menu. Check them out. Do it. Now. Really. Why are you still reading?

The New Bowled Gets a Strike!

...the Grilled Vegetable Penne ($10.95) is exquisite. It doesn't sound that fantastic at first look and I probably would not have ordered it if our enthusiastic red headed server did not plug it. But at her request, we did and loved it with its fresh seasonal grilled veggies tossed in penne with a blend of fresh herbs and a roasted garlic cream sauce.

Also at the urging of the server, we tried the Mex-Italian Lasagna ($11.95). This, too, was a sensational dish. A fusion dish of ground beef that has been seasoned with southwest spices and layered with Mexican cheese and lasagna noodles and then topped off with a asiago-chipotle cream sauce. Aye Papi!
